Two sisters, aged five and seven, were murdered when they were alone at home in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah. Police have arrested their elder sister for the murder.

A 20-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah district, was arrested forkilling her two younger sisters by slitting their throats with a shovel, after they saw her in an objectionable position, police said on Tuesday.

Anjali also tried to destroy the evidence after committing the crime, police added.

On Monday, two sisters, aged five and seven, were found murdered with their throats slit inside their house. The victims were alone at home when the incident happened.
