Police have recovered the mutilated body of a 13-year-old girl, who was allegedly beaten to death, from a sugarcane field in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri.

The mutilated body of a 13-year-old girl, who was allegedly tortured and killed, was found in a sugarcane field at a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri district.

According to sources, the girl went missing while returning from school. Her parents informed the police that she did not return till late at night, but the police did not register their complaint then.
