A drunk man beat up a seer in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur after he refused to give him money for buying alcohol. The accused was arrested and sent to jail.

A seer was beaten up by a drunk man in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur after he refused to give him money for purchasing alcohol, police said.

In a video that went viral, the accused, Bihari Jatav, was seen assaulting the victim, Arvind Katiyar. After the incident, Katiyar filed a complaint to the Kanpur Police.

According to the complaint, the incident happened on October 5 when he was returning to Kanpur after visiting Mathura's Banke Bihari Temple.
